Ben recently completed Above The Below, a survival thriller produced by Lionsgate and directed by Idris Elba and Martin Owen.
Prior to this, he edited Fight or Flight, an action-comedy feature starring Josh Hartnett, developed by Thunder Road, the production company behind the John Wick franchise. His recent credits also include Tetris for Apple and Marv Studios. In 2020, he edited School Fight, the debut feature from stuntman-turned-director Damien Walters, and also served as Associate Editor on Silent Night, directed by Camille Griffin.
Ben came through the ranks in the editorial department at Marv Films, working under producer and director Matthew Vaughn. During this time, he contributed to several high-profile titles including The Kingsman franchise, Kick-Ass 2, and Eddie the Eagle. During this time he also worked as VFX Editor on Mission: Impossible Fallout.
Ben is recognised for his strong narrative sensibility, technical proficiency, and collaborative approach to filmmaking. His ability to interpret and enhance a director’s vision combined with a commitment to precision and storytelling innovation makes him a trusted and valued head of department. He consistently brings a range of creative solutions to the editorial process, contributing meaningfully to the evolution of each project.
In addition to his work in feature film, Ben is committed to mentoring emerging talent and supporting the next generation of editors as they begin their careers in post-production.
